DEEP LIES

Sherry, Louise, Tanya and Amanda have their annual out of season reunion weekend in the Lake District. Sherry announces that she is to be married the following day and that the three others are to be her bridesmaids. Shocked but delighted, the girls are happy enough until they are introduced to the groom Maurice.

Louise is affronted, and Sherry appalled by the appearance of Maurice - each previously has had a violent affair with him. Sherry tries to patch up the differences but Maurice, rotten to the core, taunts the girls further with his bad behaviour. Picking on Amanda, Maurice lures her to a secluded spot and tries to force himself on her.

Confronted by Louise and Sherry, Maurice is contemptuous and dismissive to the point that the girls snap and seek their retribution.
